The Prince George's County Democratic Central Committee will hold a public hearing tonight to try to find a replacement for retiring Prince George's County state Del. Justin Justin Ross (D-District 22).

Ross announced his retirement back in September, surprising many of his colleagues in Annapolis. 

Ross was first elected in 2002, and was a member of the House Ways and Means Committee. 

Last week, Ross, whose 22nd District encompasses Hyattsville, University Park, Riverdale Park, Greenbet and New Carollton, was honored by the Hyattsville City Council for his service to the area. 

Tonight's meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Prangley Room on the second floor of the Hyattsville Municipal Building at 4310 Gallatin Street in Hyattsville.
