People are violent for no good reason. It used to be that you were violent or committed a crime so that you could feed your family. Now kids are just angry from no reason. I really wish there were programs where angry kids could be shipped to third-world countries to see how other teens live in peace and harmony with each other with far less.

This was over a pair of expensive sneekers. These kids seem to think that life is one big video game. They need to realize that there is no reset button in the real world. I am suprised that it took almost 4 years for this unfortunate act to take place. UTC has been overrun with this type of criminal element. At this rate, I hope the retail shops that are still there will be able to survive the bad press and the stigma of violent crime that calls University Town Center home. I hope someday that this will not be the case. Until that happens, the jury is still out.

Don't forget that just few years back, 4 men were shot at point-blank range in Manorwood. 2 died, 1 recovered, 1 other recovered, but is left permanently blinded. That case was also turned over to PG police. Still no suspects?? Why not? I am curious as to the percentage of murder cases that Hyattsville turns over to PG police that are actually solved.
