Get a chance to meet some of the artists whose work makes up the Hand Picked show currently hanging at the artdc Lustine Gallery. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, March 3 from 7-10 p.m. at 5710 Baltimore Avenue in Hyattsville. 

Hand Picked features the work of Washington D.C. area artists working in a variety of mediums. The works were selected by artdc Creative Manager Grayson Heck. The show highlights the work of artists Heck has met through his time at the University of Maryland and at artdc. 

Artists involved include darkroom photographer Barry Schmetter, woodcarver Camden Place, printmaker Justin Strom, multi-media artist Peter Gordon, sculptor Ryan McKibbin and Printmaker Henrik Sundqvist.
