I've got a little article up on Patch entitled Hyattsville Community Yard Sale Finds featuring Tweeted photographs of interesting things which I came across on the handful of yard sales which took advantage of Friday afternoon's hours. Each picture is tagged with the hashtag #HyattsvilleYardsale.

However, just because the article is up, does not mean it is finished. I intend to add more photos throughout the weekend highlighting some of the cooler and quirkier things for sale around Hyattsville.

I was wondering if I could enlist your help in adding photos to this article. Here's what you'll need to do: if you see something nifty at the yard sale, snap a picture of it with your smartphone and post it to Twitter with the hashtag #HyattsvilleYardsale along with a brief description of the item (where you found it and if it's still for sale or not).

Throughout the day I'll be adding tweets bearing the hashtag #HyattsvilleYardsale to the Storify app above.

 
Theoretically, if enough people do this it becomes a "trending topic" in the area. I am told this is a good thing.
