Hyattsville Resident Charged in Keith Banks Slaying
D.C. police arrested a second suspect in the Nov. 12 murder of DC resident Keith Banks.
D.C. police have charged a second Hyattsville resident as a suspect in the Nov. 12 shooting death of Keith Banks, a 29-year-old resident of northeast Washington, DC.
Darrell Bennet, age 22, was arrested Dec. 29 on charges of first-degree murder while armed. This follows the Dec. 20 arrest of Reginald Vance, a 39-year-old Brentwood, Md., resident. Vance also faces charges of first-degree murder.
Police had found Bennet and Vance's alleged victim, Banks, last November in the 1100 block of Galloway Street, unconscious from a gunshot wound. He died after he was taken to a local hospital.
