Crews and contractors working to clear roadways and properties in Hyattsville from debris left in the wake of this past weekend's powerful storm system have quite a job ahead of them.
As of last night, more than 40 trees were reported down in the city of Hyattsville. City officials have set up a sort of triage to deal with the downed trees. High priority assignments include trees laying across roadways, power lines and other public infrastructure (denoted in red on the above map). Following that, crews and contractors will begin clearing other, less critical downed trees reported to the city.
If you know of trees or other damage to local infrastructure not on this list, please report it to the Hyattsville City Police Department by calling 301-985-5060.
