Parade, Festival Canceled Due to Stormy Weather Forecast
The city's 125th anniversary parade and festival won't be rescheduled.

Due to a foreboding weather forecast for Saturday, the city's parade and festival are canceled this year. The carnival at Magruder Park is still on for tonight and Sunday.
According to the city's Facebook page, the event will not be rescheduled because some of the participants will be unavailable at a later date.
Do you think the city should reschedule the parade and festival, being that Hyattsville's 125th anniversary is this year?

Yes it should be re-scheduled. All of groups that can make it will come. Don't be wimps. Sarah Nemeth, how about covering those Herons nesting at 3817 oglethorpe street in Hyattsville

HAHA! I was a bit thrown when I got that cryptic tip in the mail ;-) Do you have any way of sending me some photos? I'm not sure I could get to them w/out trespassing on someone's lawn.
