Now keeping tabs on county public schools is as easy as a swipe of the finger. 

The Prince George's County Public School system yesterday announced the release of a new mobile app designed to give parents, students and teachers up to date information about the county schools. 

A video produced by the school system announcing the app boasts that it includes access to athletic and events calendars, school information, lunch menus, photo and video galleries and social media sharing options. 

Unfortunately for those with Android OS based devices, the free app is only available for the iPhone and the iPad. It can be downloaded from Apple's App Store.
