The Prince George's County Fair held Sept. 6 through Sept. 9, attracts people from all over the area as it's one of the last summer carnivals in the area.

Saturday afternoon with an impending thunderstorm on its way and a tornado warning issued, organizers tried to help fairgoers take cover inside. Some in the crowd panicked as they tried to rush inside, leaving 12 injured and four hospitalized.
