Police Seek Chillum Sex Assault Suspect

Woman sexually assaulted at gunpoint early Saturday morning.

 

Prince George's County Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman in Chillum over the weekend. 

The incident occurred on Saturday, June 23 at about 3:45 a.m. in the 5700 block of Cypress Creek Drive. That's when police said a woman was approached by an unknown man as she parked her car. Armed with a handgun, the man ordered the woman into the back seat of her car and sexually assaulted her before fleeing on foot, police said. 

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man in his 20s and weighing around 175 pounds. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, a dark blue Adidas polo shirt with three horizontal white stripes across the chest and blue jeans. 

Police are urging anyone with information which could lead to the arrest of a suspect to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-8477, or by sending a text message beginning with "PGPD" to the number CRIMES (274637), or online.
