8 p.m. - Nancy Havlik's Dance Performance Group - Joe's Movement Emporium - 3309 Bunker Hill Road, Mount Rainier - $12 general admission, discounts for youth, students and seniors.
Live music anchors a creative exploration of movement put on by Havlik's troupe and local kids enrolled at Joe's Movement Emporium.
9:30 p.m. - Urban Inspire Tour - Busboys and Poets - 5331 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville - $20 advance, $25 door
Featuring Leon Timbo and Jean Baylor, this soul-filled concert event also brings comedian Sean Sarvis and poet Charity to town.

Community members up and down the Gateway Arts District corridor are invited to discuss the important hyperlocal issues affecting the area. The topic this month: A tale of two cities. Is Mount Rainier's art scene being unfairly overshadowed by Hyattsville's art scene?
