Surf Club Murder Suspect Accidentally Released From County Jail Remains At Large

Frederick L. Scott, 24 was indicted on a first-degree murder charge for the shooting death of Phillip Watson March 4 outside the Surf Club.

 

A murder suspect remains at large today after he posted bond and was released while awaiting trial in Prince George's County.

Frederick L. Scott, 24 was indicted on several counts including a first-degree murder charge for the shooting death of Phillip Watson March 4 outside the Surf Club in Edmonston, the Washington Post reported.

Scott, who was being held on a no-bond status, was released Nov. 10 after his paperwork at the county courthouse was mixed up with that of Carlton Malik Clark, who was being held on $75,000 bond on drug charges, the report stated.

A county judge issued a warrant for Scott's arrest on Nov. 18 but he remains on the loose.
