Thursday Lane Closure Set for Jefferson St.
Work to install new sidewalk near elementary school to close one lane of traffic for a few hours.
Motorists traveling through Hyattsville should expect slight delays on Jefferson Street near the Hyattsville Elementary School on Thursday, Oct. 24, according to announcement from the city of Hyattsville.
As new sidewalks are being installed along the elementary school's still-under-construction Jefferson Street retaining wall, crews will close one lane of traffic from 9 a.m. through 1 p.m.
Flaggers will be directing traffic through the work area, near the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Jefferson Street.
