For this week's viewfinder I decided to focus on the signage we see around our city on a daily basis.
For those of you who are interested in photography in our city, I am thinking of organizing a photo walk on June 25 in the early evening. We can start at the intersection of Route 1 and Queensbury Road ending at Rhode Island Reds for food and drinks before the business closes its doors.
If you are interested, please let me know in the comment section below and I will shoot everyone an email with the time.

Update: I just spoke with Chris Brophy, the owner of Rhode Island Reds and he will be holding a grand soiree to mark the closing of the restaurant the evening of the photo walk. Which means we will be walking to a party essentially. Details are sparse at the moment but he mention copious amounts of alcohol and possible live music.

This sounds worth postponing my travel plans for. Keep me in the loop (I trust you know how to reach me). I'm so bummed that Reds is closing at all, but it's even worse knowing the end is coming so very soon.
