Kids, Parents Dance Evening Away

Dozens of little kids, parents in tow, participated in the third annual Jumpin Jukebox dance party last night at the Hyattsville Municipal Building on Gallatin Street.

The event, in its third year, attracked about 80 total participants, parents and children included. With the friendly encouragement of the deejay, young and old danced and jumped until they were exhausted. 

Though yesterday's weather was unseasonably mild, acting municipal Parks and Recreation director Abby Sandel said that the event was conceived as a weather-proof winter family activity.
