Mall to Host Gadget Recycling Event

Coming soon to the mall: get rid of your old electronics the environmentally friendly way and destroy your old sensitive documents, too.

Looking to get rid of your old gizmos and confidential documents? Then head down to the on Saturday, April 21. There, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.,  technicians from recycling company Turtle Wings, Inc. will be collecting used electronics from computers to batteries to cell phones and pretty much anything else electronic you can think of. 

It's all a part of the mall's Earth Day celebration "Lets Recycle!", held in the rear parking lot of the mall off of Toledo Terrace. 

Technicians from First Secure Shred, Inc. will also be on hand to destroy old documents like cancelled checks and financial papers. The shredding service has a limit of four copy paper size boxes per person.
