12 X 12 EXHIBIT AND EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC AT ARTDC GALLERY

artdc in Hyattsville, MD, is hosting their annual 12”x12” small works show from Sept. 4 to Oct. 2.  They have the work of over 30 artists on display, much of which is photography-based.  The main reception for this show will occur during theHyattsville Arts Fest on Sept. 24. However, this weekend on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 8-10:30 p.m., they are having a special reception with two experimental, dare I say "avant garde", bands called DC Improvisers Collective (DCIC) andAtomic Order of Four String Transcendentalism (AO4ST). It's free! Please come out and support Hyattsville's burgeoning art scene. After the show, many in attendance will head down to the new Busboys & Poets on Rhode Island Ave. for libations and gnosh.
