Don't forget to head out to the city's 125th Anniversary Parade and Festival tomorrow!

It's finally Friday. Sigh. Are you ready for the weekend, Hyattsville? Here's five things you need to know to make this weekend count.

1. Don't forget about Hyattsville's 125th Anniversary Parade and Festival starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The parade starts at Hyattsville Middle School and ends with the festival at Magruder Park. Be prepared for lots of music, carnival food, parade prizes and all around small-town-sized fun. It's supposed to storm though, so don't forget your economy-sized umbrella if you bring the family.

2. This morning at 9:30 is DARE graduation for fifth-graders. Officer Cinema Smithers is the DARE-certified instructor.
