2. Tomorrow the Maryland Department of Planning is holding the third of its eight regional forums showcasing the state's draft growth plan, called PlanMaryland. This forum, being held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Long Reach High School in Columbia, is an open house format, allowing the public to learn about the general structure, the goals and the process for achievement of the draft plan, which was released April 28.

3. The Prince George’s County Department of Environmental Resources will distribute applications for 50 new taxicab driver’s licenses starting May 23 through May 25. You can pick up an application between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. from the Business License Office, 1801 McCormick Drive, Suite 100, Largo.
