Five Things You Need to Know Today (The Hy-Five)

Just another manic Monday, Hyattsville! Here are today's five things you need to know:
1. There's a City Council meeting at 8 p.m. tonight at City Hall. Items on the agenda include presentations of draft budgets for the legislative and recreation departments. You can see the whole agenda on Hyattsville's website.
2. The Hyattsville Environmental Committee and the Hyatt Park Community Garden are hosting a composting workshop at 7:30 on April 26 at City Hall. The presentation is free and open to the public.

3. Crews from Hyattsville's Department of Public Works has replenished mulch piles at Magruder, Heurich, and University Hills parks. The program continues until late May. Mulch is free for residents using it in their homes and gardens in the city.
