2. According to NPR, Illinois leads the 50 states in sending former governors to federal prison. Rod Blagojevich was convicted on 17 of 20 counts of corruption.

5. Some pretty important people, including Sen. Paul Pinsky (D-Prince George’s) and state Senator David Harrington are planning to take the plunge into the at 10 a.m. on June 30 at . They’re doing this to make a statement about some of America’s waterways not being up to code with the Clean Water Act of 1983. The act stipulated that waterways must be fishable and swimmable.
