Happy Tuesday, Hyattsville! Here are five things you need to know today:

 

1. National Night Out Against Crime is on tap from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Magruder Park. Take a look at some of Patch’s photos from last year’s NNO.

2. The Prince George’s County Police are holding a National Night Out event from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Mall at Prince George’s. County firefighters, EMTs and paramedics will join public safety partners to promote fire safety and injury prevention.

3. Just a heads up—class rosters for will be posted on the windows near the school’s playground on Aug. 18, according to the PTA. That day is also kindergarten orientation at 10:30 a.m.

4. Do you really ever need a reason to get a massage? Just in case you do is offering a special in August with 15 percent off a half hour massage and 20 percent off of hour massages.  

5. Speaking of not needing a reason, there’s always room for , especially with Treat Receipt! Head into Starbucks before 2 p.m. for your a morning drink and return after 2 p.m. with your receipt for any cold handcrafted beverage for only $2 (plus applicable tax).
