Car Free Day is an international event celebrated each year on Sept. 22. Drivers are encouraged to use alternative transportation to cars, including trains, buses, bicycles, carpooling, Metro, telecommuting or walking.
And since we know Hyattsville is a “World Within Walking Distance,” there’s no place around town you can’t get to on foot.
