Heurich Dog Park Closing For Week

will be closed June 9-16 for drainage improvements to the park.

When the park reopens pets and pet parents will have a drier place to play.

There’s by a snow fence for some time. That area tends to be watery and messy.

This work will fix this problem area and open up a larger running area for large dogs.

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is going to install a system so the water will run off and not sit on top of the ground, said Parks Spokesman Craig Kellstrom.
