Holy Week Services, Events in Hyattsville

Here's a roundup of Holy Week events for some of the larger churches in our city. Please feel free to add information to the Comments section of this article.

Church Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Special Guest Kevin Levar Reflective meal at 6:45 p.m. with foods from the world to remember that Jesus died for the whole world, said Pastor Todd Thomason. Service of Shadows at 7:30 p.m. Communion and a series of Scripture readings from Matthew. Prayer vigil from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come as you want. 11 a.m. service with potluck meal following. At 7 p.m. footwashing service with communion. Last words of Jesus service from noon to 3 p.m. Seven preachers, Scripture readings, choir, hymns. Services at 6:30 and 10 a.m. Roman Catholic Church Service at 7:30 p.m. Service at 7:30 p.m.

Vigil at 8 a.m. Masses at 7:30, 9:30 and 11:20 a.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Bilingual Service and Agape Dinner

6 p.m.: Viernes Santo, 7 p.m. service in English

 

8 p.m. vigil

8 and 10 a.m.: Holy Eucharist

8 a.m. and noon: Misa en Espanol

Tenebrae service at 7:30 p.m. Service at 7:30 p.m. Easter Egg Hunt 2 to 4 p.m. Service at 10:45 a.m. Service: Website did not give time and phone was unanswered Service at 10:30 a.m.
