The Hyattsville Arts Festival takes place on Saturday, Sept. 22 within the Shoppe at Arts District Hyattsville at the intersection of Baltimore Avenue and Jefferson Street from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The festival plans to feature more than 50 regional artists, along with live music and performances.

Fair also repeated the call for artists of all stripes to register for the event. Registration forms can be downloaded here. You can also apply for a booth online as well.  The booth fee runs $75.

There are a few rules and regulations, however:

"Only original artwork, photography, handmade jewelry, and handmade crafts are allowed. No commercial merchandise will be accepted, unless it is incredibly unique and environmentally friendly in nature," according to the arts fest website.

If your wares fit that description, and if you get your application in by Monday, Aug. 6, your application gets put before a jury in charge of deciding who gets a booth. If accepted, you will be notified by Monday, Aug. 13.

Those lucky enough to be accepted will be granted a 10 foot square white pop-up tent and an 8 foot table with a table cover and two chairs. (Bring your own tent walls, though. They're not providing those).
