Hyattsville Blood Drive Thursday

The City will host a Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, Feb. 24, from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Hyattsville Municipal Building at 4310 Gallatin Street. Donors can register online if they prefer, by visiting the City’s homepage calendar and clicking on “Blood Drive.”

Noting that “Every two seconds someone receives a unit of blood. The need is constant,” the American Red Cross states its mission is to meet that need and “empower ordinary people to perform extraordinary acts of service.”
