The Archdiocese of Washington announced earlier this month that it will hold its annual mass to honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Hyattsville on Saturday.

The mass will celebrate the memory of Dr. King, who was born on Jan. 15, 1929, and celebrate the history of Black Catholics in the archdiocese, according to a press release issued by the archdiocese.
