Partnerships From Unlikely Sources

nTuitive nGen a certified woman owned small business located in College Park, MD dedicated to providing business development and training partners with Sankofa Odyssey of Bowie, MD, an adventure travel company, as an official sponsor for Sankofa Odyssey's 10th Anniversary sailing adventure trip to the British Virgin Islands.   

I know what you’re thinking, two companies from two totally different ends of the spectrum coming together, for what? Well the first answer is the need for more local businesses to support each other, second we have very similar customer demographics and third the ability to foster and strengthen local business relationships.  nTuitive nGen is not only a proud sponsor of this wonderful event, but we are also partnering to assist Sankofa with its integrated marketing plan providing brand management and social media support.  The goal is to organically grow and expand the current footprint of Sankofa Odyssey and its affiliate companies.

Robert Jordan the Co-founder and owner of Sankofa Odyssey has sailed some of the most exotic places in the world and noticed a common theme amongst his adventures.  “There is always this strong since of community and business partnership. Different communities and different businesses have much more in common than we think ”.   Creating that same sense of awareness, he and Tami Mullen the Co-founder and owner of nTuitive nGen decided it was time for them to support each other’s businesses in a meaningful way, doing it in the very county in which they live and work?  Prince Georges County has such a rich community of minority owned small businesses, why not make it a priority to start in our own backyard? “Being active within our community we understand the perception and economic value as both residents and business owners within Prince Georges County”, said Tami.  “The goal is to continue to highlight local businesses leveraging each other lending time, expertise and an innate sense of citizenship, while inspiring other local small businesses to partner within the Prince George’s County business community as well.”
