A Christmas Cocktail Hyattsville Style

Hank's has the sweet/tart Granny's Apple drink for Christmas Eve.

This Christmas Eve, head to and let the bartender create a drink that is both naughty and nice.

A glass of Granny’s Apples is just right for the holidays.

If you can’t leave the kids at home, Santa’s little helpers could serve up a mocktail. And guess what! It is equally fantastic.

“Our customers love this drink. So we had to feature it as our holiday special,” said Francesca Moquete, manager at Hank’s.

Granny’s Apple:

  • Goldschlager cinnamon schnapps
  • Smirnoff Citrus Twist vodka
  • Sweet and sour mix
  • DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker schnapps

Moquete said the sweet tart apple flavor “compliments the holiday season and the restaurant’s homemade dishes.”

This cocktail is festive yet simple.

This bold drink is not offered in the happy hour lineup but never fear! Santa’s reindeer don’t hit the sloped roofs ‘til late anyhow and they’ll need fresh carrots. Stop by the for an evening show at tinsel town and on the way out, stop into Hank’s for a tart Yuletide toast
