Labor Advocates Arrested at Wal-Mart Protest

Activists shut down Annapolis Road during protest.

Union organizers and Wal-Mart employees held a protest at the Wal-Mart in Landover Hills yesterday. They were protesting what they called unfair firings, poor treatment of work, and advocating for higher wages. Several protesters were arrested by the Prince George's County Police Department when they blocked Annapolis Road.
