Two New Retailers Open In The Mall At Prince George's

New apparel stores focus on latest fashion and trends.

Stylish Hyattsville residents will appreciate two new trendy, fashion-oriented retailers in The Mall at Prince George’s.

Madrag and Dazzle both opened last weekend at the mall, according to a press release, adding to its numerous clothing and apparel stores.

Madrag, located between Xcape and Weather Man, carries apparel for women age 14-32, according to its website.

The retailer’s offerings will suit “every occasion in the life of the savviest of fashion-lovers from a casual get-together to a dressy night on the town,” said the press release.

The outfitter is also known as 10 Spot in some of its more northern locations and recently opened a store in Brooklyn, N.Y., according to its website.

Dazzle is located between Men’s Wearhouse and Tux and Downtown Locker Room, also known as DTLR. This outlet carries a variety of brands including Lacoste, Ralph Lauren Polo and True Religion.

Coinciding with the opening of the new stores, the mall is running a Mother’s Day event through May 13; customers who spend $75 or more on same-day mall purchases can present their receipts to customer service and receive a “Bling Mug,” offered in four different colors, according to the mall’s website.

14-32 is not one demographic. There is nothing in this mall for adult women who are not trying to dress like teenagers or female "entertainers." Everything need not contain lycra, studs, gemstones and/or holes. Please step it up PG Plaza. I'm tired of driving to Montgomery Mall.

I go to Mintgomery Mall or Columbia Mall to shop. Even the stores like JC Penney and Macy's carry better quality at the other malls. Sad but true.

It is sad and true. You would think with all the building, etc. being done in the area, we would be able to shop where we live. I don't travel that much but when I do, my girlfriends and I go clothes shopping and I shove all I can in a USPS box (or 2) and ship it home! That's how frustrated I am....

This mall needs to be torn down.

what if someone said that about your house?

Why does it "need" to be torn down? The only reason it would "need" to be torn down is if you don't like the kind of people that go there, because I can see how there is a lot of ghettoness there. However, you could just avoid the mall all together if you don't like it, because by the looks of it, business seems to be doing fine there.

How far do you normally go to shop? PG has terrible shopping malls. The only thing PG really has on the horizon are the tanger outlets that will be built at the national harbor. But if you're going to drive that far, might as well go to a mall in Montgomery County.
