Hyattics: Intro

First blog post of "Hyattics,"a discourse that aims at addressing all the issues in Hyattsville, as well as offering a personal take on the issues by a life time resident of the city.

Hyattsville + Politics= Hyattics

Whether it’s speed camera’s that nobody wants, streets that need sidewalks, citizens not voting, or anything else of intrigue or interest in the political sector of Hyattsville; Hyattics aims at addressing all the issues in Hyattsville, as well as offering a personal take on the issues by a life time resident of the city.

Having just run for office, and lost, some may see this as an axe grinding station rather than a productive blog. This however, is not so. This blog is a way for me to be more involved in the community and offer my own opinions on the hot button issues of the city. Hopefully through reading this blog people can become more informed about the city’s issues, and also possibly gain a different perspective. I am very knowledgable about politics especially at the state, county, and city level, as well as knowledgeable about the city and its needs.

Above all I am proud of my hometown, and want to see it improve. I see this blog as a way to improve Hyattsville, by informing people of the issues, and hopefully encourage more community involvement in Hyattsville, especially as it pertains to government, and city politics.
