1. Last night’s special City Council Meeting covered a number of important topics. The Council decided to give back $89,000 awarded to the city in an energy grant. They discussed renovations to the Arcade building and went over improvements to downtown parking lots. The members also moved forward with a plan to hire a Human Resources coordinator.
2. The Hyattsville’s Farmer’s Market will be open today on Queens Chapel Road and Hamilton Street at 2 p.m.
