Pepco workers on Sept. 6 were out repairing a pedestrian light that had been out since violent storms hit over the summer.
The lamp had been setting by the side of Belcrest Road next to the Mosaic at Metro apartments for over a month.
The area, adjacent to the Prince George's Plaza Metro, has been the site of pedestrian robberies over the past several years.
