DETAILS:

Join youth, parents, educators, counselors, community leaders and elected officials for the book release celebration of Dr. Jeri Dyson’s book signing, and panel of four teens participating in the Q&A session. Enjoy great music by 12-year-old DJ Beauty and the Beatz, food and door prizes. Sponsored by BET’s Rap-It Up Campaign.

During traditional book signings, you listen to the author read a few excerpts and receive an autographed copy of their book. Dr. Jeri’s non-traditional book signing will be a celebration; she wants you to experience the book and has assembled a panel of four local teens who will they share their experience of life’s drama and how the book has helped them with their journey.

This book is written so you can skip around and find those "apples" that best suit your current life situation as it relates to the three types of relationships – Your Relationship with God, Your Relationship with Yourself and Your Relationship with Others.  As you read her book, there may be times when certain apples affect you more than others.  Then there will be entries that may become more relevant as time progresses.  Some days you may need more than one apple.

Join Dr. Jeri as she launches her book celebration tour in her hometown of Washington, D.C.  She will be traveling across the country to schools, faith-based institutions and non-profit organizations to share her #applechunks.
