Planetarium Program "Bright and Shiny Moon"

The Howard B. Owens
Science Center will host a planetarium program for parents, students, and
community members.

 To honor the memory of
14-year staff member Charles Toth, we are reviving one of his popular student
programs, “Bright and Shiny Moon”. This program takes a light and lively - and
fascinating - look at our nearest neighbor, the moon. Explore with us the
tides, eclipses, moon phases, surface features of the moon and the history of
lunar exploration. Finally, tour the night sky and participate in a
moon-phasing activity! Doors open at 7:00 for additional pre-program activities.

 Cost: $5 adults; $3
students/seniors/teachers/military
