County Offers Rabies Clinics

Get your furry friends vaccinated against rabies for only $10.

The Prince George's County Health Department will be holding three low cost rabies vaccination clinics in the coming weeks for dogs, cats and ferrets.

“The best way to protect your family and your pet is to keep your pet’s rabies vaccination up-to-date. Therefore, the Prince George’s County Health Department is pleased to offer low cost rabies vaccinations to all Prince George’s County residents,” said Acting Health Officer Pamela B Creekmur in a press release announcing the clinics. “Rabies continues to be a real threat in our community and the Health Department wants every dog, cat, and ferret to have their required rabies vaccinations.”

By state law, all cats, dogs and ferrits are required to be vaccinated against rabies before they are four months old.
