St. Patrick's Day 2014 In Washington, DC: Parade Route, Schedule, Pub Events, More

Parade steps off Saturday at noon.

Activities abound in the area for St. Patrick's Day 2014, but given where we live, what's better than the Washington, DC St. Patrick's Day Parade?

The parade steps off at noon Sunday, running along Constitution Ave, NW beginning at 7th Street and ending at 17th Street. 

This two-and-a-half hour Nation's St. Patrick's Day Parade includes floats, marching bands, pipe bands, military, police, and fire departments.

Transportation and Parking

As with most special events in Washington, DC, the best way to get downtown is by Metro. The closest stations are Smithsonian, Federal Triangle and Archives/Navy Memorial. For information about parking, see a Guide to Parking Near the National Mall.
