Hyattsville Heroes Bowl II This Weekend

Hyattsville’s Bravest will defend their title against Hyattsville’s Finest this Saturday on the gridiron at Magrudar Park.  Members of the Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department (Hyattsville’s Bravest) saw a commanding victory over the Hyattsville Fraternal Order of Police’s team (Hyattsville’s Finest) last year.

The good natured rivalry, dubbed The Hyattsville Heroes Bowl, is a fundraiser for the Sonny Frazier Toy Drive. Last year’s Heroes Bowl  raised over $2,200 for the toy drive.

Each Christmas, the Sonny  Frazier Toy Drive provides toys and other gifts to underprivileged children in Hyattsville, as well as children at Children’s National Medical Center . The Sonny Frazier Toy Drive brightened Christmas for 200 children last year.

Come down to Magrudar Park Saturday November 10, 2012 for Hyattsville Heroes Bowl II. Please bring an unwrapped toy or monetary donation for the Sonny Frazier Toy Drive.
