Broken Powerlines On Chillum Road
Do you know what really grinds my gears? Big companies that have equipment in public areas that are not maintained properly. The broken powerlines on Chillum Road have been a problem for years. Pepco really show's the people o of Chillum how they really feel. How come area's like Chillum and Seat Pleasant look like they do. There tax paying, electric paying citizens. Where is the cities leadership. Hyattsville care so much about the art district that it's not pay any attention to the other area's like Chillum. Lasalle Apartments has had a Power Line draped across its front lawn for more than 8 months, 2 feet from NorthWestern High School bus stop. What will it take. Washington Gas is a neighbor and they haven't gotten this fixed. You sell us gas, place your business in a residential area and not participate in the community, how unfair. What happens when there is another Gas leak like there was this summer, and there is a faulty powerline l or sparkling transformer like this past September. Boom. I don't want to be a burnt biscuit, NO THANKS. The city of Hyattsville needs to be diligent about there inspections of commercial equipment. Powerlines + Leaves = Fire
