Arrest Made in Hyattsville Sexual Assault

Hyattsville man faces charges after tying up and sexually assaulting a woman earlier this week.

The Prince George's County Sheriff's Department arrested a Hyattsville resident yesterday after police said he bound and sexually assaulted a woman. 

The incident took place in the 5600 block of Ager Road in Hyattsville on March 21. Police allege that Hyattsville resident Anthony L. Green tied up a woman with duct tape and sexually assaulter her.

Prince George's County Sheriff's Deputies, working with the Hyattsville City Police Department, the Metropolitan Police Department and the U.S. Secret Service were able to track down Green, arresting him in the 1400 block of Fairmon Street in Northwest Washington, D.C.

Green is currently awaiting extradition to Prince George's County where he stands charged with first and second-degree sex offenses, sodomy and second-degree assault.
