NotifyMe Prince George's is intended to help minimize disasters like last year's EF-5 tornado in Joplin, Mo.

With this week marking the one year anniversary of the devastating EF-5 tornado that ripped through Joplin, Mo, killing 161 people, Prince George’s County officials are encouraging residents to sign up the county’s emergency notification system.
