A few highlights from the most recent crime report

Crime is never funny, but sometimes criminals do interesting things. Here's a roundup of recent crime that might be considered "interesting."

On Aug. 22, about 1 a.m. at approximately 1:00 a.m., a suspect was arrested at the 3100 block of Hamilton Street when he threatened an employee with a box cutter after being asked to pay his tab at a restaurant in this area.

On Aug. 22 about 5:45 p.m. at the 2900 block of Hamilton Street, a suspect was arrested after he walked out without paying his bar tab and damaged a glass door when he was leaving.

On Aug. 24 about 10:30 a.m. at the 2900 block of Belcrest Center Drive a victim left his car running and attended by a passenger while he went into Dunkin' Donuts store. An unknown suspect got into the vehicle, pushed the passenger out of the vehicle and fled onto Belcrest Road.

On Aug. 27, between 2:15-2:30 p.m. at the 5100 block of Baltimore Avenue someone stole the tip jar from a restaurant in the area.
