Donations Needed for Brentwood Apartment Fire Victims

No one was hurt in Sunday's blaze, but more than 20 people are without food, shelter, clothing.

Neighbors of the eight families displaced by a fire which ripped through an apartment building in Brentwood on Sunday are looking for donations to help the displaced as they look for new shelter.

Brentwood town officials said that basic necessities like toiletries, food, shoes and clothing are the most needed. Particularly needed are canned foods, soap, deodorant, and women's toiletries.

For clothing, the displaced residents, numbering more than 20, range in age from toddlers to adults, and wear sizes from small to triple-extra-large.
