Prince George's County Police Seek Info on Mechanicsville Man's Death

In October, police found Elliot LaWayne Harris, pictured here, shot in a vehicle in Temple Hills.

Suspects are wanted by Prince George's County Police for a Temple Hills shooting death.


  • Wanted For: Murder.
  • In Connection With: The shooting homicide of Elliot LaWayne Harris ,44, on Oct. 6 about 6:46 p.m. at the 4300 block of 23rd Parkway in Temple Hills.
  • Description: Unknown.
  • Details: Once on scene officers located Harris of the 26800 block of Dogwood Lane in Mechanicsville, in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital in critical but stable condition, and later died of his injuries. Investigators are working to establish a suspect and motive in this case.
  • Reward: None listed.

my son Darius David Berry was killed january 28 about four or five years ago and that also went into a cold case and not once was i contacted about my son put this guy thats nobody you wants to know about him why is that why so much publicty and not for my son can you answer that huh

Wayne I hope they catch these bastards. You were an amazing man with a big heart who would do anything for his friends. You will be greatly missed by all!! Rest in peace old friend!!
