Have you met Hailey, the Hyattsville firehouse dog?
It turns out Miss Hailey has quite a backstory. Adopted through the Washington Aminal Rescue League, the 2-year-old Rottweiler had been tied up with rubber bands along with her sisters, Rylie and Lilla, by their previous owner.
Since making the her new home, Hailey has been a loyal friend and helper. Sometimes she joins the crews on fire prevention trips into the community to discuss fire safety.
