Hyattsville Police Blotter: Dec. 11-17, 2011

A few arrests, stolen pocketbooks and property damage.

Dec. 11

At the 4300 block of Hamilton Street, just before midnight, an unknown suspect driving a dark sedan approached a man walking in this area. The suspect got out of his car, implied he had a gun and robbed the victim of his groceries and wallet. The vehicle then fled toward Washington, D.C.

Dec. 12

At the 3800 block of Oglethorpe Street, sometime during the night, someone entered a parked car and stole property.

At the 6100 block of 42nd Place, sometime between 9:45 and 11:45 a.m., someone broke into a residence in this area and stole property.

At the , about 2:30 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting.

At the 3300 block of East West Highway, about 6 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting at a home improvement store.

At the 6500 block of America Boulevard, sometime during the night, someone broke into a parked vehicle and stole property.

 

Dec. 13

At the on Queens Chapel Road and Hamilton Street, about 8:15 a.m., someone entered a victim’s vehicle while she was pumping gas and stole her purse.

At the Mall at Prince George’s about 2:30 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 5 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting.

 

Dec. 14

At the 3600 block of Gallatin Street, about 1:30 a.m., a suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 6 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting.

At the 3500 block of East West Highway, sometime between 6 and 7:45 p.m., someone broke into a parked vehicle and stole property.                       

 

Dec. 15

At the 6500 block of Belcrest Road, sometime during the night, someone broke into a parked vehicle and stole property.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 10:15 a.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting.

 

Dec. 16

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 9 a.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 2 p.m., two suspects were arrested for shoplifting.

At the 5800 block of Baltimore Avenue, about 5 p.m., two suspects were arrested for possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

At the 2700 block of Hamilton Street, about 8:15 p.m., a suspect was arrested for possession of marijuana.

 

Dec. 17

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 6 p.m., a victim realized that her wallet had been stolen while she was shopping.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 6 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting.
