08-04-13       BURGLARY, 3100 blk Gumwood Drive: sometime between 7-31-13 and this date, someone entered a residence in this area and removed property.

08-04-13       VANDALISM TO AUTO, 3900 blk Jefferson Street: sometime during the night, someone vandalized a car parked in a driveway in this area.

08-04-13       THEFT, 3500 blk East West Highway: at approximately 10:30 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting at a store in the mall.

08-05-13       THEFT, 3500 blk East West Highway: at approximately 11:30 a.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting at a store in the mall.

08-05-13       THEFT, 5300 blk Baltimore Avenue: sometime between 1:45 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., someone stole the victim’s wallet from her purse while it was hanging from her chair at a restaurant in this area.

08-05-13       THEFT, 3500 blk East West Highway: at approximately 4:30 p.m., someone stole the victim’s cell phone after she laid it on the counter of a store in the mall.

08-06-13       VANDALISM, 6000 blk 41st Avenue: at approximately 3:30 a.m., someone broke out a window of a residence in this area.

08-06-13       THEFT, 3500 blk East West Highway: at approximately 4:00 p.m., a suspect was apprehended for shoplifting at a store in the mall.

08-06-13       THEFT, 3500 blk East West Highway: at approximately 7:00 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting at a store in the mall.

08-07-13       THEFT, 4800 blk Rhode Island Avenue: sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., someone stole the victim’s wallet from an office in this area.

08-07-13       THEFT, 2900 blk Belcrest Center Drive: at approximately 1:45 p.m., two unknown suspects entered an office supply store in this area, grabbed merchandise and fled.

08-07-13       THEFT, 3500 blk East West Highway: at approximately 6:00 p.m., an unknown suspect approached the victim as he walked in the parking lot of the mall. He asked the victim if he was interested in buying an iPhone for $200.  The victim looked at the phone and when he went to get cash out to pay for it, the suspect grabbed the cash as well as the victim’s backpack and fled.

08-07-13       THEFT, 3600 blk East West Highway: at approximately 8:00 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting at a drug store in this area.

08-08-13       VANDALISM TO AUTO, 4200 blk Jefferson Street: at approximately 2:00 a.m., an unknown suspect damaged the door lock on a vehicle parked in this area.

08-08-13       VEHICLE THEFT, 4300 blk Queensbury Road: sometime during the night, someone stole a 1999 Dodge Stratus that had been parked in this area.

08-08-13       ROBBERY, 3100 blk Hamilton Street: at approximately 1:30 p.m., the post office was robbed at gunpoint by an unknown suspect.

08-09-13       VANDALISM TO AUTO, 3500 blk East West Highway: sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 1:45 p.m., someone damaged the door lock on a vehicle parked in this area.

08-09-13       ROBBERY, 5900 blk Jamestown Road: at approximately 11:30 p.m., the victim was robbed at gunpoint as he walked in this area.

08-10-13       THEFT, 3500 blk East West Highway: at approximately 11:15 a.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting at a store in the mall.

08-10-13       THEFT, 3500 blk East West Highway: at approximately 4:30 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting at a store in the mall.

08-10-13       THEFT, 3500 blk East West Highway: at approximately 9:30 p.m., a suspect was apprehended for shoplifting at a store in the mall.
