Local Union Donates $1,500 To Lewisdale Fire Victims' Family

The Prince George's County Public Schools' union of custodians donated money to the family of the victims from the Nov. 27 Lewisdale house fire.

A local union is coming to the aid of the , according to a story by The Gazette.

The union, which is affiliated with Prince George's County Public Schools custodial staff, donated $1,500 on Dec. 12, when they met with family members of the victims at Lewisdale Elementary.

Six-year-old Omari Noel, who was a kindergartener at Lewisdale Elementary, died along with his mother and aunt, when a blaze started from an overloaded power strip.
